Bianca – H.BSc, M.Sc.AI completed my undergraduate studies in Life Sciences at Queen’s University. After receiving my degree, I continued studies at McGill University, where I earned my Masters of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy. I am a strong proponent of developing essential study strategies that will benefit a student throughout their academic career. I work to promote not only a solid understanding of core concepts, but the growth of independent problem-solving skills for continued success. My greatest pleasure as a tutor comes from seeing students take pride in their abilities, demonstrating the confidence to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.

Christina – H.BScI completed my undergraduate degree in Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University, then returned home to finish some requirements before applying to Dentistry. Education has always been a central priority in my life as I believe it undoubtedly serves as a strong basis for future success. With TutorBright, I have had the chance to work with a number of students of various ages and in various subjects. Using an interactive teaching style that focuses on developing a strong understanding of fundamental concepts, my aim as a tutor is to build the student’s confidence in the subject of study so that he or she is ready for more challenging problems. My goal as a tutor is not limited to helping a student learn, but also to promote and encourage their desire to learn. Hearing the words “I understand now” brings me an invaluable feeling of satisfaction, knowing that I have played a role in the student’s success.

Lucas – H.BSc, B.EdI completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, where I received my Honors Bachelor’s of Science. I have a passion for education and for helping students achieve their academic and social potential. I love teaching science and math, but I also enjoy the social sciences and english. When I teach or tutor, I like to get to know my students so that I can devise a number of different strategies that will best allow them to achieve success. I use real world learning strategies because it allows students to understand and apply their learning everyday. Since no two children learn the same, no two programs should be the same. This is why I value the system TutorBright applies, as it effectively identifies and targets a student’s area of difficulty so I can better assist them.

VikramAfter completing my undergraduate degree at McMaster University, I moved to Toronto to gain a diploma in Audio Engineering at a college. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and after being instructed in a small college classroom, I realized the importance of one on one assistance. I enjoy molding my teaching methods to cater to different students, as no two students learn the same way. When I am not tutoring, I work as a teaching assistant at a college, and I enjoy spending time on my bass guitars.

My enthusiasm for education is infectious and I am always thinking of new and creative ways to engage and guide my students towards success.
